Also a mere teaspoon of cinnamon contains 28mg of calcium, almost one mg of iron, over a gram of fiber, and quite a lot of vitamins C, K and manganese. Cinnamon is often used to help reduce blood sugar levels in diabetes type 2, and is wonderful for digestive elements such as indigestion, gas, and bloating.

Overnight serves 1 person
- 4 tablespoons of chia seeds
- 1 cup of almond milk
- 1 tablespoon of date syrup or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Mix all the ingredient together and leave it to set either over night or for at least a couple of hours .
I like to serve mine with blueberries of peaches on top.
